The Top Five Of Crap
Can retinol fix these?1. Australia's preoccupation with the Bush Administration. Change the union jack to the bald eagle and be done with it.
2. Just about any new 'music' you can think of - when was the last time a band actually sounded exciting? Haven't we had enough of over-produced pop yet? Boring.
3. The general content of Australian television. With the exception of The Simpsons and Everybody Hates Chris, there is nothing but programs revolving around medical dramas and criminal dramas. How many variations of Law & Order and SVU can you cram onto TV? I won't even mention 'reality' crap like Big Brother (because I already have).
4. Anti-ageing advertisements showcasing 18-25 years old models with nary a wrinkle in sight. These products are not marketed on the premise that they delay or prevent the signs of ageing but that they dissolve them. So start using 50 year old women to evidence it.
5. Money - it sucks.It's only really a promissory note anyway.

4. Here here ont he retinol products! I bought some cream ages ago as a preventative measure. It dried out my skin and found out it's BAD for you if you use retinol without having wrinkles. What crap! The advice I got from everyone on the make-up message board was that sunscreen was the best, so I got moisturiser with SPF and that was that. I love when the solution is brandless. It feels like you aren't the victim of a marketing scam because no one company is going to benefit.
3. I agree that TV is pretty boring. I just kinda realised that by the fact that the only TV I really watch is baseball. I still watch The Amazing Race, I'm boycotting Survivor based on this racial issue, I like House (a medical drama, I know) but I hardly rememeber to watch it so I rent the DVDs sometimes and Degrassi : The Next Generation. Now that Six Feet Under is over, TV will never be as good. Even the Sopranos is a bit 'eh'. Gregg was in the background on the first episode of Everybody Hates Chris. He was on a bus.
2. And yes, music sucks. I am going to a party on Friday and Alien Ant Farm are going to be there. I can't even believe they still exist. Apparently they are Andy Dick's favourite band. Further proof that he is dick. Still, Supergrass are still being innovative which is why I love them so much. You might like the Kaiser Chiefs. Nothing really new, but it's good stuff nonetheless. How about Muse? I saw them live at the festival I saw GN'R at (blog in progress on that) and they were really great.

5. Yeah, money does suck. I'm sick of needing it so much. If I had that bit more that I think I need to get the things I want now, would I just want more? Probably. Ugh.
